Getting started
- 1
Create your account at /signup. A workspace is created for you with an email alert contact that points at your address.
- 2
Go to Monitors → Add monitor. For a website or API choose HTTP(S), paste the URL, pick how often to check and from which regions, then click Run test check to see the result before saving.
- 3
Open Alert contacts and connect the places your team already watches: Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, PagerDuty or your own webhook. Use the paper-plane icon to send a test.
- 4
Attach the contacts to your monitors (on the Add monitor page or when editing one).
- 5
Optionally publish a status page under Status pages so customers can see uptime for themselves.
Tip
Every plan includes unlimited team members. Invite colleagues from Team so alerts and incident handling are shared from day one.
What happens next
Your monitor is checked within seconds of saving and then at the interval you chose. If a check fails, the location retries until your fail threshold is reached, other locations confirm the outage, an incident is opened and every attached contact is notified. When the service recovers you get a recovery message with the total downtime, and the incident is closed.
