MoniterMySite's Slack integration posts every monitor event to a channel of your choice: the monitor name, what failed, which regions observed it and a link straight to the incident. It uses a Slack incoming webhook, so there is no app to install or permission scope to approve, and it is included from the Launch plan upwards.

Set it up in four steps
Create an incoming webhook
In Slack, create an app (or open an existing one), enable Incoming Webhooks and add a webhook to the channel that should receive alerts. Copy its URL.
Add a Slack contact
In MoniterMySite open Alert contacts → Add contact → Slack, paste the URL, and press the paper-plane icon to send a test message.
Attach it to monitors
Pick the contact on the Add monitor page or when editing a monitor. Use one contact for everything or separate channels for production and staging.
Tune the noise
Turn on Down-only mode on the contact if you want recovery messages suppressed, and raise the fail threshold or confirmation count on monitors behind flaky networks.

Each message links to the incident page, where the region-by-region timeline and the exact response are already waiting.
Channel health checks
If Slack keeps rejecting deliveries, the contact is paused automatically and you are emailed, so a dead webhook never goes unnoticed.
Maintenance aware
Maintenance windows silence Slack like every other channel, and the downtime is excluded from uptime figures.
Works alongside PagerDuty
Route everything to Slack for visibility and only customer-facing monitors to PagerDuty for paging.
What a Slack alert contains
A down alert names the monitor, states the failure (for example “Unexpected HTTP status 503” or “connection refused”), lists the regions that confirmed it and links to the incident. A recovery alert reports the total downtime once every selected region is healthy again. Slow-response alerts fire when a check exceeds the response-time threshold you set on an HTTP monitor, and certificate alerts arrive at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before expiry.
Why alerts arrive only for confirmed outages
Checks rotate across the regions you choose for each monitor. A region has to fail your consecutive-failure threshold before it is marked down, and you decide how many regions must agree before an incident opens and Slack is notified. During an outage the monitor is re-checked every minute, so recovery reaches Slack fast.

Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Telegram
The same contact type exists for Discord (channel webhook), Microsoft Teams (Workflows incoming webhook), Google Chat (space webhook) and Telegram (bot token and chat ID). Each receives the same event details, so a team can mirror alerts across tools without extra configuration.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install a Slack app?
No. MoniterMySite posts through a Slack incoming webhook URL that you create in your workspace. No bot user, no OAuth scopes, and you can revoke it at any time from Slack.
Can different monitors alert different channels?
Yes. Create one Slack contact per channel and attach the right contacts to each monitor. A monitor can have several contacts.
Will I get a Slack message for every failed check?
No. A message is sent when an incident opens (after your fail threshold and region confirmation are met) and again when it resolves. Slow-response and SSL reminders are separate, deliberate events.
Is Slack available on the free plan?
The Starter plan includes email and webhook alerts. Slack, Discord, Teams, Google Chat and Telegram start on Launch.
What if the webhook URL stops working?
After repeated delivery failures the contact is deactivated and you receive an email. Fix the URL in Slack, update the contact and re-enable it.
